Guillermo is indeed out of ICU and back into his ‘usual’ hospital room! After such a tense past week, it feels great to have such positive news. Although it will take quite a while before fully recovering from this surgery, he is obviously now out of the most dangerous period and is mostly just healing from such an invasive surgery.
The staff are returning to round-the-clock care for Guillermo in the hospital, so now it’s time to be sure to be praying for us! While we love Guillermo to pieces, he is not the most compliant baby while in the hospital. When he could get up and get around, he was very happy, but now that he has to stay in his bed…we’ll see how it goes.
